Welcome to Kenny Rupp, our newly hired Business Administrator, who started his career at Desert Hills Lutheran Church on September 8, 2020. Kenny is a Southern Arizona native and has been looking to serve “an organization that has a positive impact in the community through service and charity” where he “can apply his educational and work experience in parallel with his faith in the local community.” His goal in everything is “to help others reach their full potential both vocationally and personally.”
Kenny has over 16 years of experience working for major corporations as a Senior Buyer/Contracts Administrator and as a Supply Chain Operations Business Process Expert, most recently at Raytheon Technologies. He has an MBA in Business Administration and a Certificate in Human Resources Administration and is known for his patient, friendly, teacher mindset, and professionalism.
In addition to his corporate expertise, Kenny has church leadership experience. He has been a Youth Pastor for two years, served on the Tech team for two years, and has filled needs and gaps for the Senior Pastors of his home church over the last 13 years.
Kenny resides in Sahuarita with his wife and two children, a freshman and a junior in high school. He enjoys camping with his family, escaping the trappings of modern-day devices and distractions.
