COVID PROTOCOLS

Here at Desert Hills Lutheran Church (DHLC), we have continually monitored and tracked the ever-changing COVID situation as it impacts our community and the world around us. Out of an abundance of caution, to take proactive measures, and to provide the safest environment for the staff and congregation, the following measures will continue to be followed at DHLC into January of 2022.

    • The worship services’ protocols will be fully masked throughout the sanctuary.
    • Masks must be worn at the church building for all meetings and gatherings. Masks must be worn while in the conference rooms and meeting rooms and while walking through the hallways. Masks will be provided at all entrances for those that may need one. The conference rooms will be sanitized before every scheduled meeting.
    • Masks must be worn while attending meals and events in Fellowship Hall. Masks can be removed once seated at the table for the meal but must be put on to walk around the hall and while coming and going through the church building.
    • Masks will also be required for all special events and concerts.

We fully appreciate everyone’s adherence to these precautionary measures as we do our best to stay proactive. Thank you to all committee chairs and ministry leaders for following these protocols and making attendance here at DHLC as safe for everyone as possible. We want to assure you that this protocol continuation was discussed at great length by the council given current data and recent local incidents in Green Valley. The council will continue to monitor and review the protocols for the church based on current and future local data.

If you are feeling ill, have a fever, cough or any symptoms, please stay home.
