Book Discussion Group
- Bookmen (This men's group meets Wednesdays weekly at 7:45 am. The location of the meeting is Manuel’s Restaurant for breakfast, fellowship, and lively book discussion. All men are invited to join the group. The current book: "The Conservative Heart" by Arthur C. Brook
The DHLC Estate Sales Team is another way for both men and women in the church to Make a Difference. Help is always needed to sort, price and set up before the sale, as well as helping on the sale days. If you want to have a fun-filled day with friends, volunteer a few hours. Desert Hills Lutheran Church receives 35% of the estate sale proceeds. The Council has designated that 20% of the DHLC fee be used for ministries beyond DHLC and 80% go to the DHLC Debt Retirement Fund.

Footloose singles is a group of active singles at Desert Hills Lutheran Church who get together for monthly activities. Look for their upcoming activities that are announced in the monthly Quail Notes newsletter, the weekly church bulletins, weekly E-Quail update and on their bulletin board in the fellowship hall under "Fun and Fellowship" where their sign-up sheets are located.
Those of German descent gather for fun, fellowship and food monthly on the 4th Monday. (September–May) Everyone is welcome!
Those of Scandinavian descent gather for fun fellowship, food, education and service projects on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 5pm, with a potluck supper followed by a program. Everyone is welcome! (October-April).

New Member Dinner
New Member Welcome Dinners four times a year.
Saturday Night Supper
$5 donation at 6 pm after the 5 pm service.
Sunday Afternoon Lunch
$5 donation at 12:15 pm after the 11:15 am service.
Tables of Eight
Small Group supper fellowship is open to all members and guests. Host plans dinner in members home or in restaurant.
A Fellowship group of, by and for widows only meeting the 1st and 3rd Sundays at the church.
