In the midst of all that is going on in our communities, in our nation, and in our world, we can recognize signs which Jesus spoke of in Luke 21. When we see signs which seem to be upsetting, will we look for God in the midst of all the things going on around us and to us? Because Jesus promises, “I am with you always.” Another question: is it possible that you and I might become signs for other people to see? Might we become Living Signs that God is at work, signs that Salvation and Redemption is near to everyone, even in the midst of our misery? 

Jesus says, “All things are possible, with God” I believe we can become signs of the Kingdom… signs of the Living God at work… when we “STAND UP,” “RAISE OUR HEADS” and “LOOK FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD... .”

 

Assignment:

When you see any of the signs of which Jesus speaks… Ask yourself two questions:

“What am I looking for?” and “Where is God at work?”
