The Good News for all of us who at one time or another find ourselves on “the exit to nowhere.”  On Good Friday, Jesus carried the Cross down the Papago Road Exit because He came to gather all of us who find ourselves there. He means to gather everyone… no matter where they’ve gotten stuck. “Blessed is He Who comes in the Name of the Lord.” On the road to the Cross, Jesus built a new way beyond all our “exits to nowhere.” He built a new road, with His Grace, He prayed, “Father Forgive them, they know not what they are doing.” He built a new road, when He promised, “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life….” He makes a new way for all He gathers. He meets us where we are… but He never leaves us there.

Assignment:

Look for Jesus, the gatherer, right there. Then pray, “Thank you for making a way out of our dead end ways’. Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord. Amen”
