CONSTRUCTION UPDATE AND PHOTOS

Worship at Desert Hills Lutheran Church

You are invited to visit us at 2150 Camino del Sol, Green Valley, Arizona on Sunday mornings at 8:00, 9:30 or 11:00 a.m., or Saturday afternoons at 5:00 p.m. for our weekly worship services.

  • The Saturday 5:00 p.m. praise service* includes contemporary hymns.  Our Praise Team includes singers, piano, drums, guitar, and bass guitar. Come "catch the spirit."
  • The Sunday 8:00 a.m. service is a traditional service* with a liturgical format.  Many responses are sung by the pastor and the congregation.
  • The Sunday 9:30 a.m. service* is a blended service with old-favorite and contemporary hymns. Power Point projections are used throughout the service. Sunday School classes are offered during the 9:30 service for children (kindergarten through 6th grade.
  • The Sunday 11:00 a.m. service* is a blended service with old-favorite and contemporary hymns.  Power Point projections are used throughout the service.
  • Healing Prayer Service at 12 noon  offered on the 4th Sunday of each month.
    *Food and fellowship are available in the fellowship hall following worship services.

    Our worship and ministry continues on the same schedule throughout the year.

    Our pastors, Rev. Dr. Martin Overson and Rev. Dr. Richard Lind welcome your participation in worship.

HEALING SERIVCES

are now on the fourth Sunday of each month. If you are seeking healing and wholeness, you may find hope and light, peace and courage, forgiveness and renewal in body, mind, and spirit by attending our healing service on the fourth Sunday of each month at 12 noon in the sanctuary, here at Desert Hills Lutheran Church.

Rev. Wally Mohr, a retired minister and counselor, and a member of DHLC, will lead this special 20-minute service which includes scripture, prayer, confession, (and for those who wish) the anointing of oil. You are invited to come for yourself, for a friend, or loved one.

This separate healing service will begin after the 11 am service, in the sanctuary.

CONCERT OF RELIGIOUS AND SECULAR MUSIC presented by Desert Hills Lutheran Church musicians



Tuesday April 17 at 7 pm in our sanctuary.
