Desert Hills Lutheran Church is fortunate to have a staff of skilled and caring individuals who assist the congregation and handle the day-to-day operations. In addition, DHLC is led by our Congregational Council, which consists of nine members elected by the congregation. Each council member serves a three-year term, and terms are arranged so that the terms of one-third of the members expire annually.

She and Joe have been married for 51 years. Judy and Joe both love their son, Jeff; his wife, Cheryl; and their “grandbabies” – Grand miniature poodles, Appaloosa horses, and a herd of miniature cattle. She shares, “Joe and I spent most of our lives buying houses that required ‘love’ and renovating them into our ‘homes’. I loved living on property that allowed for gardens with lots of flowers and landscape. We really enjoyed our lakeside vacation home in Minnesota and our mountain vacation home in Colorado. God blessed nature lovers.” Be sure to introduce yourself to Judy if you attend the Sunday 11 am service.
