As we gather around the manger, our gift tonight is not to ask who does the baby look like, but rather WHO looks like that baby? Can we reflect the light that shines in the darkness and the darkness cannot overcome it? Can we bear a resemblance to the wonderful counselor, the mighty God, the everlasting father, the prince of peace? Can we, like the baby, be a bundle of love?

Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
