"What Now?"- Sat. April 13, 2024

After going through the emotional roller coaster that is Holy Week, the disciples are reeling and wondering, “What do we do now? Do we go back home and continue the life that was interrupted by our following of Jesus? Do we try and go it alone? Will anybody come and listen to us share about what Jesus means to us?” For us, we have heard year after year the message of Easter. Today, we get to celebrate the difference it has made in our lives. In 1 John, we are reminded that Jesus has changed everything. He has given us a life filled with forgiveness and hope. Being claimed as one of God’s children allows us to know that we are never kicked out of the presence of God. We do not have to live in fear.
