This week we end our trip around our parking lot. We entered this journey through grace, moved into discipleship, and now are invited to make a difference in our own lives as well as in the lives of others. One really does not understand someone’s struggles until you have walked a mile in their shoes. We make a difference in the lives of others by striving to connect with them, sharing their pain and struggle, caring deeply for them as fellow human beings, welcoming them, and providing for them in their time of need. To make a difference is the attempt by us to embody the presence of Christ to others, wherever we might encounter them.
